Jeanette Francis Lucey

Jeanette Francis Lucey, 76, of Rock Hill, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024.  Born in Bangor, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Alberta Francis.  She grew up on Indian Island and was a member of the Penobscot Tribe.  Jeanette spent her career in Telecommunications.  When not working, she enjoyed reading her Bible and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Donald James “Don” Lucey; son, Sean Patrick “Sean” Lucey, Sr of Texas; daughter Shannon Munn (Casey) of Rock Hill; grandchildren Sean “Patrick” Lucey, Jr. of Texas, Ashley Munn (Johnnie Huckabee) of Lexington, S.C., Kelsey Wilson (Zachary) of Texas; Ryan Munn of Columbia, S.C.; great-granddaughter Eleanor Wilson of Texas. She is also survived by her sister Ila Mae of Indian Island, Maine.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 10:30 AM with a service to follow at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Bass Cauthen Funeral Home, 700 Heckle Boulevard Rock Hill, SC, with Pastor Jamie Burdette officiating. Burial will be held at Forest Hills Cemetery Rock Hill, SC.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Rock Hill or to Samaritan’s Purse.
