Nora Althea Dover

Nora Althea Dover, age 69, of Charlotte, NC passed away on November 21st, 2023 surrounded by her family.

Nora was born on May 21st, 1954 in Mercedes, TX to the late Roy and Doris Stewart. She graduated from Mercedes High School before going to nursing school where she obtained her LPN. She then volunteered her time working as a missionary in Mexico. In addition to caring for others, Nora also had a love for music. She led worship and played the piano at The Worship Center in Pineville, and was also in the choir at Fort Mill Church of God.

She is survived by her spouse, Richard P. Dover Jr.; her two sons, Michael Dover (Beth), Max Tisdale; three daughters, Tiffany Tisdale (Howard), Kristin Kelly (Tim), Joanie Jackson (Stephen); 5 grandchildren, Meghan, Kayla, Ashley, Chloe, and Wyatt; 2 great grandchildren, Ellie and Amelia. Two brothers, Glenn (Francis) and Jerry Stewart.

The family will be holding a visitation on Tuesday, November 28th at 1:00 followed by a celebration of life at 2:00, at Fort Mill Church of God.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Young at Heart, P.O.
