Richard Edward Veal, Jr

Richard E. Veal, Jr. Passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2022. A memorial service will be held at Springvale Baptist Church in Lugoff, SC on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 11 AM. Richard was born in Macon, GA on July 8, 1948. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Brenda K. Veal and 2 sons, Jim Veal (Kay) and Dylan Veal (Melanie), six grandchildren, Sara Kay (Jordan), Stuart (Katharine), Laura (Brandon), Mason, Jacob and Joshua and 3 great-grandchildren, James, Claire and Sid.
He was a well-respected builder/developer in Macon for over 30 years. He retired to Lugoff, SC in 2006 where he was a member of Springvale Baptist Church and where he served as Deacon. He was a wonderful husband and father and devoted his life to his family.
