Abigail Faith Fody Talley

Abigail Faith Fody Talley passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, February 3, 2025 after a long brave battle with breast cancer.

Abby was born in California and moved to Charlotte, NC, in 1984 making her almost a native of the South. She graduated from Providence Senior High School and then moved on to NC State University where she graduated with a double major in English and Business. Abby, along with her father Tom, ran their family business, Door Works Company.

Abby and her husband, Gerald, were blessed with the adoption of their daughter, Zaylee in 2014. This experience led Abby to become very passionate about children in the foster care system of South Carolina and was a volunteer and supporter of Defend the Fatherless and the SC Foster Parent Association.

Abby was a faithful member of Christ Ridge Presbyterian church and enjoyed planning and hosting the youth Summer Lake Day and Christmas Party.

Abby is survived by her Husband and Daughter, Gerald and Zaylee Talley, Father and Step-mother, Tom and Marcia Fody, Mother, Elissa Fody, Sisters Amy Huot and Alex Beauregard and their families, Step-Siblings Stacy Thomas, David Wood, Michael Wood and their families.
