Alan Lowell Vincent

ROCK HILL, - Alan Lowell Vincent, 55, died unexpectedly on Friday, December 3, 2010, at Piedmont Medical Center.

He was born in Hartford City on July 16, 1955 to James R. Vincent and Virginia A. (Gadbury) Vincent. Alan graduated from Blackford High School in 1974. He was a former Heavy Duty Equipment Operator. He loved going to the beach and spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and hunting for mushrooms.

Alan will be sadly missed by his sons, Caleb L. (wife, Kourtnie) Vincent of Rock Hill, South Carolina; Joseph H. Vincent of Ft. Mill, South Carolina; grandchildren, Samantha Vincent and Haley Vincent; mother, Virginia A. Vincent of Hartford City; sisters, Sherri (husband, Larry) Meilner of South Bend; Susan (husband, David) Lake of Missouri; brother, Rick (wife, Diana) Vincent of Hartford City; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St. Hartford City, IN with Rev. David Fleener of Zion Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2010 and from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Keplinger Funeral Home.
