Albemteen Howze Snorton

Albemteen Howze Snorton was born July 29, 1954 in Rock Hill, SC to the late Ervin Howze, Jr. and Albirtha Crawford Howze.
She transitioned from this life to her heavenly home on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville, SC.
She joined in holy matrimony to Bishop Dr. Joseph Emmanuel Snorton on December 25, 1999.
At an early age she joined Bethel United Methodist Church, Edgemoor, SC, where she was the church pianists. She was mother and active member of Unity in Christ International Ministries.
Albemteen, also known as Teen, graduated from Rock Hill High School, Rock Hill, SC.  She graduated from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC with a bachelor’s degree in social work. She was employed with the Department of Social Service in Columbia, SC and later transferred to the Department of Social Service in Greenville, SC.
She leaves to cherish her life and memories, her husband Bishop Dr. Joseph Emmanuel Snorton, brother James L. Howze, Sr. (Louretta) of Charlotte, NC; sister Elder Barbara (Dewey) Mills of Rock Hill, SC; brothers William White of Edgemoor, SC and Robert Robinson of Rock Hill, SC; stepson Elder Joseph E. (Natasha) Snorton, Jr., Greensboro, NC and stepdaughters Emuel Snorton of Spartanburg, SC; Hannah Snorton of Maryland; and Dr. Chalee Snorton of California; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
