Alex Attanasio

Alex Attanasio passed unexpectedly on April 22, 2021 at the age of 33 in Fort Mill, South Carolina.

Alex is survived by his parents, his sister, Olivia Attanasio, and his daughter, Lacie.

Alex was born in Charleston, South Carolina on February 20, 1988 to Nan and Roger Attanasio. He graduated from Fort Mill High School in 2006 and attended the Lundeberg Maryland Seamanship School.

Alex was charismatic and the life of the party, and he always had a joke or quip ready to cheer you up. He was a quick study so he could solve any problem or handle any situation. He loved the water and thrived working on the ocean, and it was his dream to get back on the ocean and travel. Alex enjoyed cooking, and eating, golfing, watching the Atlanta Braves and Carolina Panthers, and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by his family, his friends, and those who knew him.
