Alexander Thomas ("Alex") Mason

January 21, 2005 — September 4, 2024

Waxhaw,NC

Alexander Thomas Mason was born on January 21, 2005, in Charlotte, North Carolina.  Alexander was the most kind, tenderhearted, funny, respectful, comical and brilliant young man ever to walk the earth. His love of God, family and justice was evident in everything he said and did. His infectious laugh and smile brightened every room. Alex would show kindness to all, always willing to help and generous and giving to anyone.

Alex is survived by Ashley Mason (sister), Jennifer Mason (mother), Keith Mason (father), Kelly Eek (stepmother), Kristian Eek (stepbrother), Anders Eek (stepbrother), Nellie Mason (grandmother), Ken Mason (grandfather) along with a loving extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

From his early education at Marvin Ridge Elementary School to his days at Marvin Ridge High School, Alex was recognized for his brilliant mind and compassionate spirit. He graduated in 2023.

Working side by side with his father, Keith Mason, Alex was a main contributor to grow the business. Alex was filled with vision and excited to build the business together with his dad.

Alex's faith was central in his life. He was ingrained with an unshakeable faith in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and made the decision to be baptized at 8 years old.

Alex was overjoyed when riding his motorcycle and driving cars. He grew up riding four wheelers and dirt bikes with family and his new passion was a love for curating aquariums. Most of all, Alex enjoyed spending time with family, going to the driving range, family Sundays and game nights. He enjoyed sharing his passions with family and friends he loved.

Alexander Thomas Mason, 19, passed away on September 4, 2024, in Waxhaw, North Carolina. Alexander Mason's legacy of generosity, laughter, faith and unwavering kindness will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him. He now stands in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and we WILL see him again. We love you so much.
