Alice Norene Collins

Mrs. Alice Norene Raines Collins, 62, of Rock Hill, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2009 at Piedmont Medical Center. Funeral Services will be private with burial at the church cemetery. A native of Rock Hill, SC, Mrs. Collins was the daughter of the late James Alexander Raines and the late Mary Lucille Ratterree Raines. She was a homemaker and a member of Friendship United Methodist Church. Her hobbies were reading and music. She also loved playing with her beloved cats. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Beth Raines and her brother James Alexander Raines, Jr. Surviving is her husband of 44 years, Roy S. Collins and her daughter, Elizabeth Collins of Rock Hill. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 pm Tuesday at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home, 700 Heckle Blvd., Rock Hill, SC, 29730.
