Alice J (Shelton) Wilson

August 20, 1932 — May 15, 2021

Fort Mill, SC

Mrs. Alice Shelton Wilson, 88, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 15, 2021.  A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Unity Cemetery in Fort Mill, SC.  She was born in Rome, GA 1932. Mrs. Wilson was a daughter of the late  Arthur and Ella McLemore Shelton. She was a loving mother and wonderful homemaker. She was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church for more than 40 years where she loved to sing solos on Sunday mornings. She loved her family dearly, but most of all she loved the Lord.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by her daughters, Violet Freeman(Grady) , Joyce McBeth(David), and Lisa Wilson. Mrs Wilson was preceded in death by her mother Ella McLemore Shelton and father Arthur Shelton, her husband Leroy Wilson, son, Ray Leroy Wilson, grandchildren Johnny Leroy Freeman, Michael Shane Freeman, Jeremy Shannon Freeman, and Angel Michelle Freeman, son in law Michael Hooks. Siblings Helen Carico, Molly Fite, Merlene Morgan, Nancy Miles, Judy Shelton, Lucy Wilson, and Charles Shelton. She had 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.

Violet and all the family would like to thank HaborChase of Rock Hill. Leanne Pressley and everyone who loved and took care of my precious mother. Hospice Nurse Tina Dillon who love mother so much.
