Allan Albert Castagna

Allan A. "Abe" Castagna, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, 85, of Fort Mill, SC, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018. Mr. Castagna was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1932, son of the late John and Mildred Castagna. He raised his family on Long Island, NY then later moved to Florida and Massachusetts. He and his wife settled in Fort Mill in 2010.

He served in the U.S. Army as a Radio Operator from 1954 to 1956. He later worked for many years in Manhattan as a Pattern Maker in the garment industry. He is survived by his wife Gloria of 65 years, his four children Debra, Denise, Lewis and Susanne, and five grandchildren Cathryn, Jessica, Sarah, Evan, and Alex. He enjoyed cooking, woodworking and spending lots of time with his family.
