Alma Wells Thompson

Alma Wells Thompson, 89, of 1098 Woodshire Ct., passed away Tuesday December 2, 2008 at her residence. A native of Gastonia, NC, she was born October 31, 1919 a daughter of the late Jackson and Annie Wells Wells and was the widower of the late Benjamin Franklin Thompson. She was a member of the former White Street Baptist Church and a homemaker. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Thompson will be held Thursday at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Devinney officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00pm Thursday prior to the service and other times at the residence.
