Alphonse Eugene Smith, Jr.

Mr. Alphonse Eugene Smith Jr., 64 of Fort Mill, South Carolina passed away peacefully on Friday September 1, 2017 at Piedmont Medical Hospital. Born in St. Louis, Missouri a son of the late Alphonse Smith Sr. and Mary Gibson and wife of Veletia Smith. Mr. Smith was retired owner and operator of several companies and enjoyed consulting others about their business.
Alphonse was extremely loving and proud of his children: He was preceded in death by Carla Smith, Charmaine Smith, Amber Smith, Nicole Smith, Donnay Smith and Angie Smith. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of the home and children Alphonse Smith III, Miliani Smith, Kaita Jefferies and Jasmine Smith. He is survived by his sisters Maria Chalkley, Debbie Bender and brothers Wayne Gibson, Mario Johnson, Craig Johnson, Dassau Johnson and Danny Winston.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday 23rd, 2017 at 1pm at Palmetto Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Anton Shipp will be officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
