Anne A Conner

Anne Atkinson Conner, devoted wife, mother, aunt, and special grandmother, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2016. She is survived by her son, David Lawrence Conner; sister-in-laws, Betty Ann Conner, Sylvia Richardson; nephews, Reb Bunkley (Phyllis), Billy Atkinson, Ronnie Atkinson, Larry Conner; nieces, Shirley Koshak (Gary), Cindy Sargent, Liz Conner; "special grandmother" to Ryan Bunkley, Abby Bunkley, Larry Koshak. Anne retired from Oakdale Elementary School after a long career in the Rock Hill School System. Pursuing her love of plants and flowers, she and her family owned and operated Conner's Greenhouse for over 30 years. She also had a love for crocheting and tatting and loved making special gifts for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Conner; her sister, Alice Atkinson Bunkley; brother, W.B. Atkinson (Margaret); and her parents, Lois Hardin Atkinson and Arthur Pearson Atkinson. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Agape Hospice and Rock Hill Post Acute Care Center for the care and support shown to Anne. A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 11:00am in the Zion Cemetery,2459 Cameron Road, Lowrys, SC. Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of York County, 8177 Regent Parkway, Fort Mill, SC 29715.
