Annie Frances Hubbard Hartsell

Annie Frances Hubbard Hartsell , 91, of Rock Hill, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at White Oak Manor in York. She was born August 6, 1927 in Bennettsville, SC, daughter of the late Samuel and Ethel Turner Hubbard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vernon Dewitt Hartsell; three sons, Danny Ray Hartsell, Pete Hartsell and Manny Hartsell; two daughters, Carlene Simmons and Joann Morris; grandson, Ronnie Bean; brothers, Robert Hubbard and Jesse Hubbard; and sisters, Joyce Falls and Rosie Shaw.

She is survived by her beloved granddaughters, Wendy Parris of Rock Hill, Paula Russo of Charleston, Jessica Greene of Rock Hill, Tonya Funderburk of Rock Hill, Lisa Howe of Gainesville, GA; grandsons, William Douglas Bean, Jr. of Rock Hill, Danny Morris of AK and Weslie Hartsell of Rock Hill; son, Ricky Hartsell of Lancaster; 20 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Sammy Hubbard (Lukay), David Hubbard (Louise) and Allen Hubbard, all of Rock Hill; and many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, November 9, 2018 at Forest Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 4600 Park Road, #250, Charlotte, NC 28209.
