Annie 'Doris' Pittman

Mrs. Annie "Doris" Pittman passed away Friday, December 5, 2014 at PMC. Born in Gaston County Mrs. Pittman was the daughter of John H. West and Annie P. West. She retired from Springs Industries after 25 years of service. She was a member of Sisk Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Pittman was preceded in death by her husband; William O. "Bill" Pittman, a son; William O. Pittman, Jr. (Billy), a grandson; Keith O'Brien Kidd, and great-grandson; Glenn Pittman. She is survived by four daughters; Jeannie Kidd (Gary), Shirley Bruce (George), Debby Ward (Tommy), Donna Helms (Ray), daughter-in-law; Marian Pittman, along with 10 grand children; Billy Pittman, Scott Pittman, Ashley Kirkland, Michael Kidd, Brian Kidd, Derrick Thomas, Brian Bruce, Brad Ward, Angie Ward, and Chad Helms and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Palmetto Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm with services at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow at Unity Cemetery. The family will be at home of daughter, Jeannie Kidd, 2323 Holbrook Rd, Fort Mill, SC.
