Anthony John Pijerov

PIJEROV, Anthony John, 35, died as he lived his life, with deep faith in God, on June 8, 2016. He had family by his side at his home in Fort Mill, SC and was blessed by the companionship of dear friends and family in his final days. Anthony is survived by his loving wife, Brooke (Shultz) Pijerov, beloved children, Bridget Pijerov (4) and Alexander Pijerov (2), and deeply devoted father, Nikola Pijerov, and brother, Nikola J. Pijerov.
Anthony was born January 5, 1981 in Syracuse, NY, the son of Nikola Pijerov and the late Jacqueline (Puchir) Pijerov. In his early years, Anthony lived in many different places, including Saudi Arabia, Barbados, and the Virgin Islands. He also traveled around the world with his family.
He attended Guilderland High School in Albany, NY, where he played football and graduated with the Class of 1999. He later obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Boston University in 2003. Anthony went on to achieve his Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School in 2006, where he met his treasured wife, Brooke. They were married on July 11, 2009 in Grand Rapids, OH.
In his professional life, Anthony spent seven years passionately working as an associate at Hunton & Williams LLP before accepting an exciting new opportunity to serve as Capital Markets Counsel at Wells Fargo in 2014. He was known for his integrity, commitment, and dedication to the legal profession by everyone with whom he worked.
Personally, Anthony was known for his quick wit, wise counsel, and compassionate heart. He loved learning about everything, from the latest technological trends to history to sailing and everything in between. His loyalty and love for friends and family knew no bounds. He delighted in time spent with his children. He is greatly missed by all who were blessed to know him.
Anthony's life will be celebrated with visitation on Friday, June 10 from 2 to 8 p.m. at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 292 Munn Road East, Fort Mill, SC. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, also at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. He will be interred at Elmwood Cemetery in Charlotte, NC.
