Anthony Scott (Tony) Rayfield, Sr.

July 16, 1963 — October 15, 2020

Mr. Anthony (Tony) Scott Rayfield, Sr., 57, of Fort Mill, SC passed away Thursday morning, October 15, 2020 at his home.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff McWatters officiating.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.

Born in Rock Hill July 6, 1963; Tony was the eldest son of the late Mary Hood Rayfield and his surviving father, Kenneth G. Rayfield.

Tony worked in the construction industry primarily dry wall. Fishing and hunting were two of his interests. Tony was known for his humor and pleasant personality. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory include a daughter, Tiffany and her daughter Tania of Lancaster, two sons Scottie of York and Steven and wife Carrie and their daughters of Pennsylvania, two brothers, Stony and Richard and wife Suzanne, as well as two “bonus” brothers, Brent and Trent all of Fort Mill. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and many friends including his bonus mom, Helen.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 211 Marvin Rd., Indian Land, SC 29707.
