Arlene Cauthen

Arlene J.Cauthen, age 70, of 1189 Neely Store Road, loving wife and mother went to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 8, 2011 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House. A native of Rock Hill, Mrs. Cauthen was born September 23, 1940, a daughter of the late Ira and Julia Ligon Johnson. She was retired from Bowater and a member of Second Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband Boyce Cauthen, two sons Randy Cauthen and his wife Carol of Lancaster, Ray Cauthen of Edgemoor; a brother Mike Johnson of Rock Hill; two sisters Barbara Snipes of Rock Hill and Linda Fox of Rock Hill; also eight grandchildren Buster, Courtney, Kandis, Ashley, Mallory, Sydney, Sierra and Cheyenne. A family gathering to celebrate the life of Mrs. Cauthen will be from 6:00 to 8:00pm Thursday at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home.
