Arsenio Angelo Amabile, Sr

Mr. Arsenio Angelo Amabile, Sr., 90, born in New Jersey on December 12, 1930 left us to be with his Heavenly Father on April 16, 2021, and was reunited with his beloved wife of 60 years, Evelyn Amabile and daughter, Karen Beth Amabile, in Heaven.

He is survived by daughter, Betty Moore (Mark), son Arsenio Angelo Amabile, Jr. (Michelle), three grandsons Antonio Amabile, Adriano Amabile (Katie), Tanner Hill (Morgan), and three great-grand children, Charliana, Anjudio, and Arsenio.

He was a Marine, accomplished mechanic, certified instructor, Ice cream truck driver, painter, a long-haul truck driver, and lastly a door greeter at SAMS.

He was a man of undying faith to our Lord and Savior, which shined through in everything he did. He was a Deacon at Swansboro Baptist Church in Swansboro, NC and New River Baptist Church in Jacksonville, NC for many years. He was a current member of Clover ARP Church. Everyone he met loved him for his compassion and loyalty.

Arsenio’s heart went out to children of Children’s Miracle Network at SAMS Club. He received multiple awards for raising the highest for the CMN SAMS locations, nationally. Arsenio was flown out with his wife, Evelyn, to meet Marie Osmond at a Children’s Network fundraiser.

Arsenio Amabile will be remembered for the love, compassion and respect he showed everyone he encountered in his walk-through life. This is the ultimate legacy to leave behind to your children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Someone once described him as he has “it”, a small word that’s hard to describe but so easy to see when you look at Mr. Arsenio, aka George.

A private service will be held at Clover ARP Church in Clover, SC 29710. The service will be streamed on the Clover ARP You Tube channel,  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgHKE0wu1JNBwRfOKo8dHHA, Tuesday April 20th at 11:00 AM. Arsenio will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife and his daughter at Onslow Memorial Gardens in Jacksonville, NC 28540.
