Arthur Neil Chernosky

Arthur Chernosky at age 67 of Fort Mill, South Carolina passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 18, 2016 at Levine & Dickson -Southmister Charlotte, North Carolina.

Arthur was born in Bethesda, Maryland, the son of Edwin and Kathy (Drenna) Chernosky. He is married to Niam Hooi-Leng. He graduated from Waltham High School in 1967, and proceeded to obtain his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Lowell Technological Institute in 1975 where he was a president of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. After graduation he moved to Texas, and worked as the Plant Manager for Actofina Chemical Inc from 1981 to 1992 in Bryan, Texas. In 1992 he moved to Philadelphia for a new role as purchasing manager at Atofina's headquarters. Arthur and Niam moved to Fort Mill in 2008 for retirement. In retirement, Arthur spent his time working part time at the golf course, traveled, collected coins, and golfed.

Arthur is preceded in death by his parents Edwin Chernosky and Kathy Chernosky.

Arthur is survived by his wife of 34 years Niam Chernosky, stepson son Steve Teow and his wife Andrea Chong and grandson Zachary Teow of Fort Mill, SC, two brothers Edwin Chernosky II of Sunderland, Vermont. Wayne and his wife Kathy Chernosky of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, nephews Edwin and his wifeTheresa Chernosky III, Christopher, Brian and his wife Stephanie Chernosky and Niece Lauren and her husband Nicholas Weishaar, grand-nieces Megan, Bridget, Jocelyn and Ava-Lyn Chernosky and grand-nephews Ryan, Brandon, Nicholas Chernosky.

Memorial service will be held at Palmetto Funeral Home on March 25, 2017 at 2:00 P.M.
