Arthur William Roos, Sr.

Mr. Arthur William Roos, Sr. 84, of Tega Cay passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill. Born in Albany, NY Mr. Roos was the son of the late Adam and Frederica Roos and graduated from Christian Brothers Academy in Albany NY. He was owner and operator of Adam Roos Plumbing and Heating which was established in the 1880's. Mr. Roos was an avid bird and big game hunter and belonged to many clubs relating to training hunting dogs and judging field trials. He attended St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. A private memorial service will be held for the family Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Palmetto Funeral Home Chapel, Fort Mill, SC 29708 with Father John P. Giuliani, C.O. officiating. Mr. Roos is survived by his wife: Marilyn Edwards Roos, his son: Arthur William Roos, Jr. and wife Bettina of Waxhaw, NC., his daughter: Laureen Mary Tenczar and husband Gary of Fort Mill, four grandchildren: Leanne Cicarelli and husband Chad of Fort Mill, Lindsay DeBacco of Fort Mill, Kristina Badran and husband Omar of Cherry Hill, NJ and Cory Ward and husband Andrew of Waxhaw, NC and six great grandchildren.
