Ashley M Blafield

Ashley Michelle Blafield, proud wife and mother, passed away unexpectedly at home in Rock Hill, South Carolina, on November 21, 2021.

Born on February 3, 1983 in Dallas, Texas, to Mike Kennedy and Lee Anne Peveto, Ashley lived life to the fullest and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  She used her artistic and creative skills in her love of refinishing furniture and various arts and crafts projects.

After graduating from North Garland High School (Garland, Texas) in 2001, she later joined the United States Army Reserves as a Human Resources Specialist in 2007 where she received a National Defense Service Medal & Army Service Ribbon.

Ashley leaves behind loving husband, Colin Blafield, and their three young children, Gavyn, Cayden and Ashlynn as well as father & stepmother, Mike and Kathy Kennedy; mother & stepfather, Lee Anne & Miles Peveto; brother & sister-in-law, Justin and Heidi Kennedy; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Glenn and Edith Blafield; grandmother, Peggy Ueckert; step-sisters & their husbands, Heather and Chadd Easterday, Adrianne and Leo Bruce, Marissa and Rodney Infante, Rachael and Chris Bingham as well as numerous uncles, aunts, nephews & cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence and Charlene Kennedy, Tommy Ueckert, Harold Y. and Ruth Blafield & Stanley and Betty Lis.

The family would like to express their thanks and deep appreciation to so many people including India Hook Elementary School, Cornerstone United Methodist Church, Encore Labels & Packaging, Frito-Lay, Keystone Services of York County, Kohls and Palmetto Funeral Home.
