B.A. "Bobby" Westbrook, Jr.

Mr. B.A. (Bobby) Westbrook, Jr. passed away Friday, March 4, 2011 at home. Mr. Westbrook was born December 10, 1935 the oldest son of B.A. and Rebecca Alewine Westbrook. Mr. Westbrook operated Westbrook Grocery until it closed in 1986. He attended Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Richburg, SC. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home with the Rev. Linda Jenkins and Dr. Dan Bradley officiating. Entombment will follow in Grandview Memorial Park - S. Cherry Road. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Saturday at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home and other times at the home. Mr. Westbrook was preceded in death by his brother R. Wylie Westbrook. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Peggy Jenkins Westbrook; brothers Jack (Carol), Charlie and Howard (Diane) Westbrook; sisters-in-law Peggy West Westbrook of Summerville, Jeanette Crenshaw, Hilda (Mike) Parker, and Rev. Linda Jenkins; brothers-in-law Windell (Darnell) Jenkins, Harold (Carolyn) Jenkins; and many loving nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to Rock Hill Dialysis and Hospice and Community Care. Memorials in honor of Mr. Westbrook may be made to Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, P.O.
