Barry Gene Lowery

FORT MILL - Mr. Barry Gene Lowery, 56, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 3, 2017.

Memorial services will be 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017, at Fort Mill Church of God, 221 Academy St, Fort Mill, SC 29715.

A native of Monroe, NC, Mr. Lowery was a son of Alice Jean Spittle Lowery and the late James Lester Lowery. He was a Marine Disabled Veteran, an avid biker, and a machinist for Accuride, Otto and INA. He was a Dean's List graduate from York Technical College. He was very dedicated to his family and friends. He will be remembered as an amazing, loving, and caring husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He loved riding his Harley. He loved his dogs and his hobbies. He was an awesome, hard working man for his family. He loved his B.F.F's Billy and Rhonda Windell, Jackie and Nic and James Buell. He loved his family and friends with everything in him.

Surviving are his wife, Carol Lynne Lewellen Lowery; two daughters, Brandi Michelle Lowery and Wendy McAlister Gardner; and three grandchildren, Chasiti Lowery, Jaidyn Howard, and Barry Howard. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Lowery.

Rest in Peace - My Love, My Daddy and Our Paw-Paw. Heaven gained our Angel.
