Benjamin Raymond Lemhouse

Benjamin Raymond Lemhouse, 93, of 1920 Ebenezer Road, passed away Friday, January 22, 2010 at Sterling House. A native of Shawano, Wisc., Mr. Lemhouse was born March 20, 1916 a son of the late Robert and Sophia Staub Lemhouse. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Rock Hill, was retired from the U.S. Air Force after 30 years of service having served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WW II. Mr. Lemhouse earned his Associate Degree from Greenville Tech. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Doris Bartz Lemhouse. Surviving are his two sons Kurt Lemhouse of Rock Hill and Ken Lemhouse of Melbourne, FL; two sisters Dorothy Lemhouse Berndt of Shawano, Wisc., and Shirley Lemhouse Naumann of Punta Gorda, FL; and two grandsons Zachary and Gabriel Lemhouse. A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mr. Lemhouse will be held Monday at 11:00am at Forest Hills Cemetery with Reverend Gene Feagin officiating.
