Bennie Barron Shaw Jr.

Bennie Barron Shaw, Jr., 65, of Edgemoor, SC passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at his home. Born in Rock Hill, SC, Mr. Shaw was the son of the late Bennie Barron Shaw, Sr. and Grace Broome Shaw. He grew up in Pleasant Hill Methodist Church in Indian Land and proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp. Mr. Shaw was an avid golfer who was featured on ESPN ten years ago after making three eagles in a row at the Fort Mill Golf Course. He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Shaw; a son Matt Shaw; a step-son, Caley Ratterree; a step-daughter, Kim Cavett; a sister, Susan Perry; 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a large Rat Pack full of golfing buddies. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Friday, February 21, 2014 at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
