Betty Lou (Hermanson) Flowers

Pineville, NC – Mrs. Betty Lou Hermanson Flowers, 81, died Thursday, June 27, 2024, at her home.

A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Mrs. Flowers was a daughter of the late George Samuel Hermanson, Sr. and Eva Estell Helms Hermanson.  Mrs. Flowers was a graduate of South Mecklenburg High School.  She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.  She was a member of Stough Memorial Baptist Church, Pineville, NC.

She is survived by her three children, Kevin Boatwright (Debra), Renee Boatwright, and Kay;  a sister, Jeannette Miles; and 6 grandchildren, Erick Lacy, Korey Lacy, Randy Lacy, Travis Knight (Jessie), Macy Boatwright, and Kady Boatwright. She was preceded in death by her two siblings, George Hermanson and Diane McCorkle.
