Betty May Miner Freeman

Rock Hill - Mrs. Betty May Miner Freeman, 86, of 1634 Honeysuckle Pond Road, died Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at Piedmont Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2014, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, York Ward with Bishop Michael Fear officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park-Hollis Lakes.

A native of Endicott, NY, Mrs. Freeman was a daughter of the late Floyd Miner and Grace Mix Minor.

Surviving are her six children, Gary Bishop (Peggy), Diane Brookshire (Tom), Wanda Spurlin (Glenn), Bonnie Granger (Russ), Billy Bishop (Paige) and Joey Bishop; a brother, Robert Miner (Esther); two sisters, Beverly Metzger and Dorothy Falkner; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lillian Jenkins and Janette Prince and a granddaughter, Susan Shuler.
