Betty Robinette Hatfield

Betty Zane Robinette Hatfield born August 27, 1929, Daughter of Pryor Jess Robinette and Bessie Virginia Lee Kyle Lewis - Passed with peace and grace on February 8th. Predeceased by her loving husband Howard in 2014. Survived by daughter Zane Anne Hatfield Burge of York, grandchildren: Travis Elliott and Paige Elliott.

Betty was born in Clinchport Virgina, attended Lincoln Memorial University and then moved to Charlotte. After marrying Howard she threw her energies into being a loving wife and mother. Open to all neighboring children and horses, her home was never closed. In addition to their many travels she and Howard enjoyed their summers in Beach Mountain . She will be always remembered as a loving mother and grandmother and whose greatest passion was helping others.

Visitation will be held at Palmetto Funeral Home, 2049 Carolina Place Dr. Fort Mill SC on February 17, 2018 at 1 pm with a service at 2 pm. A celebration of life will follow immediately at Town Tavern 2000 Highway 160 W Fort Mill.
