Betty Helen Horner

Betty Helen Horner, 64, of 2715 Rufus Ratchford Road, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the home of her mother in Gastonia. A native of Gaston County, she was born September 1, 1946 a daughter of Madge Helen Dagenhart Angley of Gastonia and the late Judson Robert Angley. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband James Linwood Horner, two brothers Robert and Ronald Angley, also a niece Robin Angley. Surviving are three sons Vince Horner of Gastonia, Judson Horner of Charlotte and Darin Horner of Gastonia; one brother Billy Angley and his wife Carol of Gastonia. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00pm Sunday at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia. A service to celebrate Betty's life will be held Monday at 11:00am in the Colonial chapel of Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia with Reverend Frankie Sneed officiating.
