Betty Jo Graves Mitchell

Betty Jo Graves Mitchell, 85, born December 16,1928 in Chatsworth, Georgia, passed away in her Rock Hill home with family after a short illness on August 19, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Mitchell Jr., two sisters, and one brother. She is survived by her three sons - Michael, Dennis, and Donald Barnhill and younger brother - Dale Graves, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Family visitation will be Friday, August 22nd at 10 a.m. at the Gospel Light Baptist Church located at 832 West Main Street Rock Hill S.C. with a church service at 11 a.m. followed by a grave site memorial service at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens. Pastor Bruce Wyatt will precede over the service. The family wishes, in leiu of flowers, contributions be made in the name of Betty Jo Mitchell to the Gospel Light Baptist Church-General Church Fund. She will be deeply missed and remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. MAY SHE REST IN PEACE....
