Betty Ann Spurlin

ROCK HILL - Betty Ann Hanes Spurlin, 80, of Rock Hill, died July 11, 2014, at her home.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, July 14, 2014, at Whitesell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.

A native of Chattanooga, Tenn., Mrs. Spurlin is a daughter of the late Brado Lagusta Hanes and Laura Goodman Hanes.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn Edward Spurlin, Sr.; a son, Glenn Spurlin, Jr. (Wanda); three daughters, Patricia A. Starnes, Dorothy Sims (Gene) and Mindy Cawley (Jim); a brother, Thomas Hanes; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Hanes and Joe Hanes; and three sisters, Thelma Wright, Mildred Dean and Gertrude Wright.
