Billy Hugh Bennett, Jr.

Lancaster - Mr. Billy Hugh Bennett, Jr., 62, died Monday, July 20, 2015, at CMC-Pineville.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Friday, at Benton Heights Church of God, 1111 Concord Ave., Monroe, NC 28110 with Rev. Jody Freeman officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church and other times at the home.

A native of Rock Hill, SC Mr. Bennett was a son of the late Billy Hugh Bennett, Sr. and Eleanor Kimbrell Bennett. He loved his family deeply and his grandchildren were his heart. He was a previous owner of 521 Auto Sales and B & L Wholesales. He will be remembered as a man with a big heart who was always looking for ways to help those in need.

Surviving are his wife, Edna Louise Bennett; four sons, Billy Ray Bennett (Nikki Coffman), Jerry Allen Bennett (Tammy), Travis Hugh Bennett (Amanda) and Ryan Scott Bennett; three brothers, Bobby Bennett, James Bennett, and Charles Bennett; three sisters, Barbara Bennett, Mary Barrett, and Brenda McCoy; and five grandchildren, Jerry Bennett, Jr., Johnathan Bennett, Savannah Bennett, Abbigail Bennett and Dalton Bennett. He was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Ellis.
