Billy Fay Blackwood, Jr.

ROCK HILL - William "Billy" Fay Blackwood Jr., 47, of 1126 Sturgis Street died Saturday, August 3, 2014, at Piedmont Medical Center.

Memorial services will be 7:00 PM Thursday at Whitesell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.

A native of Rock Hill, Billy was a son of Cecilia Blackwood and the late William Fay Blackwood Sr. He was the owner and operator of the Rock Hill Paint and Body Shop. He was also a previous employee of City Body Shop. He will be remembered as a loving father and husband. He enjoyed spending time outdoors.

Surviving in addition to his mother is one daughter, Kirsten Leigh Blackwood; one brother, Andrew (Andy) Blackwood; and one sister Teresa Blackwood Rose. He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Faye Blackwood.

Memorials can be made to the Billy Blackwood Jr. Memorial Fund at Founders Credit Union, Springdale Road, Rock Hill, SC.
