Billy Mack Brewer

Billy Mack Brewer, 88, of Fort Mill SC passed away after a brief illness on February 29, 2024. A memorial service will be held on May 11 at 1:00 pm with visitation following at Palmetto Funeral Home 2048 Carolina Place Fort Mill, SC 29708. Dr. Joe Brown of Restoration Church of the Carolinas will be officiating.

Billy Mack was in the Navy in the late 50’s afterwards attending the University of NC Chapel Hill. He was a businessman in Birmingham and Charlotte until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his son Christopher, daughter Gaye, his mother Eva Mae, father Roy, his sister Ellen Faye (Coy) and brother Luther (Shelia).

Billy Mack leaves behind his beloved wife of 63 years Nancy. He loved Nancy with all his heart and soul.  They loved to travel and were always together.  He was fond of cooking and his love for hot sauce was remarkable. He also loved the Tarheels and went to numerous games over the years.

Additionally, he leaves behind his granddaughter Sydney of St. Helens OR, his grandson Austin (Kat) Lexington KY, and his great grandson Ronan Ford, along with many nieces and nephews.

Billy was a thoughtful, kind man of God and he will be missed. He was a proud member of First Baptist Church of Fort Mill.
