Billy Ray Mallard

Billy Ray Mallard, age 47, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 in Spruce Pine, NC. Born in Rock Hill, SC, Bill was the son of Ann Marie Threatt Mallard and the late Jerry Wayne Mallard. In addition to his father, Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Mallard.

Bill previously worked at U.S. Food Services, then as a truck driver, and later delivered car parts for Auto Advance. Bill enjoyed playing pool at APA Pool League and was an avid Braves Baseball fan.

He is survived by his mother, Ann Marie Threatt Mallard, of Fort Mill, SC; three daughters: Jessie Mallard of Chesnee, SC, Casey Mallard and Alexis Mallard; one son, Cameron Lee, of Fort Mill, SC; brother, James Smith Mallard, of Lancaster, SC; an aunt Rachel Boone in Spartanburg, SC; and many more nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends.

The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at the Chapel of First Baptist Church Fort Mill. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens.
