Bobbie Jean Paul Mcelhany

Bobbie Jean Paul McElhany, 89, of Rock Hill, passed away on September 14, 2024. Born Saturday, February 23, 1935, in Anniston, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Willie Paul and Velma Irene Whitten Paul. Bobbie loved spending time with her family, cooking and entertaining. She enjoyed gardening and if not active with her family you could always find her with a book in her hand.

Bobbie is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Debbie) Jean Kalemkiewicz and her husband, Allen, of Rock Hill, SC; sons: W.F. McElhany and his wife, Kathy, of Morganton, NC, and Tim McElhany and his wife, Cheryl, of Greenwood, SC; three granddaughters: Ashley Reiss and her husband, Jesse, Jennifer Sears and her husband, Patrick, and Stephanie McElhany and her husband, Troy; ten great grandchildren; and many more loving family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, J. L. McElhany, and brother, Billy Paul.

A special Thank You is sent to her family "care team" Allen  Kalemkiewicz, Debbie  Kalemkiewicz, Jennifer Sears and Ashley Reiss as well as Riverview Palliative and Hospice Care for all of their amazing love and support they gave Bobbie.

The family will receive friends from 6:00p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Bass Cauthen Funeral Home. A service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Bass Cauthen with interment to follow at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens, 700 Heckle Boulevard Rock Hill, SC 29730.
