Bobby Pendleton

Bobby Hugh Pendleton, 82, of Rock Hill, passed away Friday, October 29, 2010 at Piedmont Medical Center. A native of Clover, Bobby was born January 19, 1928 a son of the late William Melvin and Bertha Wells Pendleton. He was retired from Rock Hill Printing and Finishing and he owned a Car Lot on Saluda Street. He was a US Army Air Corp veteran and attended Oakland Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother William Melvin Pendleton, Jr. Surviving are his wife Wilma Brakefield Pendleton; a sister Bettie Cooley of Rock Hill also numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00pm Sunday at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Pendleton will be held Monday at 2:00pm at Oakland Baptist Church with Dr. Robert D. Shrum officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park on S. Cherry Road. The family requests memorials be made to Hospice and Community Care, PO Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29731.
