Bonnie Edwards Stewart

December 12, 1937 — October 10, 2014

Bonnie Faye Edwards Stewart, 76, of Fort Mill, S.C. passed away Friday, October 10th, 2014 at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C. Her husband, Lawrence Stewart, son Kelly Stewart of the home, as well as her daughter Robin Cross of McConnells, S.C, daughter Diane Evers and husband Gary of Pleasant Garden, N.C, and son Eddie Stewart and wife Susan of Climax, N.C, survive her. Bonnie was a very loving wife of 57 years, a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker. She was raised in Wilmington and Erwin, N.C. Her joy in life was spending time with family and friends, and was a very fun loving person. She enjoyed annual family trips to the beach, as well as family gatherings during the holidays. She was a friend to all, and greeted everyone with a smile and laughter. Her father, Emmett Edwards, mother, Beulah Edwards, sister, Billie Autry, and brother, Elwood Edwards, precede her in death. Grandchildren Matthew Evers, Ashley Caviness, Jesse Stewart, Tyler Stewart, Joshua Cross, and Stacy Dolde also survive her, as well at two great-grandchildren Brayden Caviness and Zoey Dolde. Vistitation is Sunday, October 12th, 2014 from 6PM-8PM at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home, 700 Heckle Boulevard, Rock Hill, S.C. Services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00AM on Monday, October 13th, 2014.
