Rock Hill - Mr. Stuart Brandon Kay, 36, of 3077 Hitching Post Lane, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012.

Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Bethesda Presbyterian Church, 4858 McConnells Highway, York SC. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 2:30 - 3:45 p.m. Sunday at the church sanctuary.

Born in Hickory, NC Mr. Kay was a son of William "Bill" Kay, Jr. and Mary Ellen Boyd Kay. Brandon was a genuinely devoted father, husband and son. His life revolved around his family. He was a compassionate, honest, giving, hard working and intelligent man. He did not want or ask for open recognition for his deeds. He was very talented with his hands and loved to help anyone in need. Brandon's life cannot be described and summed up in words. Anyone that knew him knows all that is said about him is true.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Samantha Lynn Farabee Kay; two sons, Tyler Kay and A.J. Kay; two daughters, Caitlynn Kay and Aundrea Kay; one brother, Todd Kay and a sister, Esther Kay Skinner. Other family members and loved ones in Brandon's life are his Grandmother Sara Kay, Mother and Father-in-law Debbie and Steve Madden, Sister-in-law Pam Hale and husband Jerry, "Brother" Rusty Farabee and wife Carolyn. Special nieces and nephews Josh Thaxton, Sarah Beth Skinner, Charlton Skinner and a nephew on the way, Liam Farabee. Many special Aunts, Uncles and cousins in which he loved. He will be loved and missed very much.
