Brenda E. Blackmon

Brenda E. Blackmon, age 82, of Fort Mill, SC, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 7, 2022, after a brave ten-year fight with Parkinson's and Supranuclear Palsy.

Brenda was born in Jamestown, NC, the daughter of Earl and Alpha Williams.  She was predeceased by her husband, Fred Blackmon, her daughters, Pamela Craddock and Lesa Toomes and great-grandson, Coby Rivera. Brenda is survived by her children; Marsha Dell, Jessica Blackmon, Dannie Blackmon, Donna Blackmon and grandchildren; Hannah Harvey, Temica Toomes, Jennifer Rivera, Melissa Blackmon, and Alliah Blackmon and 10 great grandchildren.  A special mention of Brenda's lifelong friend, Maureen Clark, who was there at her side throughout life's journey.

Brenda's greatest passion was serving the Lord.  She was an accomplished pianist and singer.  For many years, she played the piano, sang, and directed the choir at her church.  She also enjoyed living on a farm and watching Jessica ride horses.

Our hearts are comforted knowing she has transitioned to her heavenly home.
