Brenda Henrietta Learmont

Brenda Henrietta Learmont, 80, of Trinidad and Tobago, passed away on April 5, 2023, at home in Lancaster, SC.

Brenda was born on November 23, 1942, in Santa Cruz, Trinidad, to Ercell and Julia Learmont.

Brenda was a mother not just to her children but to the many others who had the privilege to know her as Aunt Brenda or simply… Mother. She worked as a nurse aid up until her retirement and was truly passionate about taking care of the elderly and providing them comfort in their last days.

Brenda was generous and kind and would offer her hand or her home to anyone in need. She was passionate about cooking and feeding not only her family, but she spent numerous hours providing meals to orphanages whenever she could.

Brenda is survived by her children Shelly Ann, Clint, Roxanne, and Dwayne, nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, her brother Peter Learmont, and sister Elizabeth Withstrum. She was preceded in death by her siblings Linda Lezama and Leroy Learmont, her son Jean-Marc Learmont and her grandson Aadam Muhammad.

Brenda will be remembered as a kind-hearted person who lived her life the way she wanted.

For relatives abroad, Brenda’s final resting place will be in St. James Trinidad.  Dates and final arrangements to be announced.
