Brenda Harrison Trotter

York - Mrs. Brenda Harrison Trotter, 71, went home to the be with the Lord on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at White Oak Manor - York.

Memorial services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, February 4, 2017, at Greater Life Baptist Church, formerly known as Independent Bible Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Internment will be private.

A native of Camden, SC Mrs. Trotter was a daughter of the late Walter Lee Harrison and Viola Polston Harrison.

Surviving are four sons, Tommy Faulks of Gastonia, NC, Scott and Dawn Faulks of Fort Mill, Rick and Gladys Faulks of Chester, and Alvin of Shelby; one daughter, Patricia Phillips of Kings Mountain, NC; four sisters, Dianne Smith of Waxhaw, NC, Faye Stump of Monroe, NC, Kay Katsarats of Waxhaw, NC, and Patricia King of Marshville, TN; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Eugene Trotter; two sons, Walter Brinton Faulks and William Ray Faulks; two brothers, Walter "Bucky" Harrison and Roger Harrison; and a sister, Etta Leary.

Mrs. Trotter was a long time member of Independent Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Jason Coley.
