Charlotte, NC

Brian Lewis, 52, passed away on March 25, 2025, in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Born on May 8th, 1972, in Charlotte, North Carolina, Brian was a man who filled his life with music, a passion for the outdoors and billiards. He was known for being kind and respectful.

As a young boy, you could always find Brian by the river. He found peace in fishing and was lauded by his dad as being very good at it. He was known for his appreciation for music and would always play the latest hits to the most cherished classics. He didn’t know it, but this would make him the coolest older brother, ever. Most of all, he was proud to love his mom and call her his best friend.

As an adult he devoted much of his time to billiards. He spent countless hours trying to master this pastime. He would set up competitive events, practices and fundraisers. He would make many friends during his time around the tables.

He is survived by his mother Alice Duncan; Father Doug Lewis (Cindy); Sister Melissa Helms (Chad); and his half-siblings Alyssa Priest and Josh Lewis. He will be missed by his niece and nephew Makaylyn and Brennan Helms.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Brittany Lewis and stepfather Oliver Duncan Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Palmetto Funeral Home, 2049 Carolina Pl. Fort Mill, SC 29708. Service will begin at 2:00pm.
