Brittany Arline Booth Barrett

Brittany’s bright spirit left this world on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, as she went to walk with Jesus and her Frumpa.

Born on July 19, 1988, in Methuen, MA, Brittany filled every room with her warmth, kindness, and an unmistakable love for life. She graduated from Manchester Memorial High School in Manchester, NH, before continuing her education at USC Lancaster in South Carolina.

Brittany’s heart was as big as her love for the simple joys in life. She adored animals, treasured quiet moments with a good book, and embraced every Halloween with childlike excitement. Penguins made her smile, flip-flops were her footwear of choice, and the beach was her happy place. She found joy in traveling, especially on cruises, and never turned down a perfectly made top-shelf margarita. But above all, Brittany’s greatest love, her whole world, was her son, CJ.

She leaves behind so many who loved her deeply, including her husband, Christopher Barrett of Rock Hill, SC, and her son, Colter Lee Neal Jr. (CJ) of Rock Hill, SC, who will forever carry her love in his heart. She is also survived by her devoted mother, Linda Booth of Myrtle Beach, SC; her aunts Karen Faso of Nashua, NH, Debra Welton of Hampton, NH, and Christine (Billy) Waller of Gainesboro, TN; many dear cousins; and her beloved dogs, Bella and Nico, who were always by her side.

Though Brittany’s time here was far too short, her love, laughter, and light will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Brittany’s memory to Calciphylaxis Research at Mass General Hospital or Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Control—two causes that were close to her heart.
