(Lovingly referred by Mom as Brit Brit, Sissy by her sister and Peanut by Mimi.)
She was born in New Port News, Va., to Shannon Griffin and Jeff K. Martin.
Brittany graduated from Winthrop University with a BA in Marketing. She was employed as an Officer and member of the Loan Closing and Documentation Team within Global Markets Operations at Bank of America.
Brittany was a very social, warm and kind person. She was always available for anyone who needed comfort or laughter in their lives. Her social circle of friends was large and amazing.
When she walked into a room you knew her constant energy and cheerful laughter was going to make for a better day. She loved to travel to new places, attend social events, go camping with her husband, and experience the fine cuisine offered in the area. Flowers were considered a great delight she embraced the enjoyment of getting flowers from her Mimi's garden. She asked her mom recently "why do you say you love me all the time." Answer "because I do." They were binge watchers of scary movies and challenged each other who could find the scariest show. Never a dull moment with those two where laughter and bonding was always their goal. Of special significance was a pure loving relationship with her younger sister Cara.
All her life she treated and protected Cara as if she was her child. Fiercely protective, always helping her, always teaching and encouraging Cara to be the best she can be. Not one argument in their lives and both vowing to always take care of each other.
Brittany was predeceased in death by her Uncle, Dennis Rude; Grandpa, Charles Hughes; and her loving husband, Kevin, who gave her the pure happiness and love she wanted in life.
Survivors left to mourn the loss of this beautiful ray of sunshine are her parents, Shannon Griffin, Fort Mill, SC and Jeff K Martin of Texas; sister Cara Martin, Wilmington, NC;
Mimi" Barbara Griffin, Fort Mill, SC; two very special Uncles, Michael Massey and wife Ellen Massey; Van Wyck, SC; Jim Martin, Rock Hill, SC; her endearing Aunt Patsy Tarlton, Fort Mill,

The family would like to thank all of Brittany's friends for their kindness and enduring friendship throughout her young life. You made her smile and laugh, you made her a part of everything a beautiful young woman should be included in, and most important, you circled and embraced and encouraged her fiercely for months after the loss of her husband in a way we have never
seen.
