Bruce Leonard Demayo

.Mr. Bruce DeMayo, age 62, passed away Tuesday July 2, 2019 in the Hospice Unit of Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Born in New Haven Connecticut and raised in nearby Hamden, Bruce was the son of the late Phil and Marion DeMayo and brother to Flip, Rick, Joe, and George DeMayo. Bruce was a proud graduate of the University of Connecticut class of 1978 and received his masters degree from the University of New Haven. Bruce was a retired Human Resources Director having served in that role for various companies in Connecticut as well as North and South Carolina. Bruce was an avid golfer, bowler, coin collector, NY Giants fan and loved playing his acoustic guitar.

Survivors include his sons John "Jack" DeMayo, Mark DeMayo, Scott DeMayo and Stephen DeMayo, ex wife Beverly, grand daughters Brianna and Taylor DeMayo and their mother Alicia "Kirby" Springs as well as his aforementioned brothers.

A memorial service and mass will be held Saturday July 6, 2019 at 10 am at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Fort Mill, South Carolina with Father John Guiliani officiating.
