Bryan Ryszard Orkofsky

Bryan Ryszard Orkofsky, 14, of Fort Mill, passed away suddenly Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte. He was born October 26, 2005 in Middletown, NY.
Bryan attended Fort Mill High School and was often referred to as a "quiet genius". He had a big heart, always followed it and was the first to lend a helping hand to anyone. Bryan had many hobbies that included: video games, skateboarding, rap music, sports, drawing, wrestling, working out, swimming, movies and going to the movie theater, the mall and Carowinds. He most enjoyed time spent with his family and friends and flirting with girls. He always meant well and would willingly offer an apology, if needed. He was funny, goofy and always wanted to look his best. His family attended St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Fort Mill.
He was a loving and caring son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, who adored his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Dorota Gwizdz Orkofsky and Bryan William Orkofsky; brothers, Kevin and Noah Orkofsky; maternal grandparents, Cecylia and Ryszard Gwizdz of Poland; paternal grandparents, Diane and Bruce Orkofsky of Fort Mill; maternal aunts and uncles, Rafal Gwizdz, Malgorzata and Mariusz Ruczka and Jolanta and Bogdan Zieba, all of Poland; paternal aunts, Alice Lipping of NY and Tara Orkofsky of MA; several cousins; and many dear friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 20, 2020 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Fort Mill. Burial will follow at Philadelphia United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family would like to offer their sincere appreciation for all acts of kindness shown to them during their time of bereavement. Your outpouring of support and love will never be forgotten.
