C. Eleanor Witt

Clara "Eleanor" Altman Witt, 84, of Fort Mill, went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 21, 1935 in Georgetown, SC, daughter of the late William and Mable Conklin Altman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Marie Wyman and Shirley Anderson and brothers, William "Buddy" Altman, Jr. and James "Jimmy" Altman.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Wayne L. Witt; daughters, Deborah Marckini and husband, Jeff of Jenison, MI and Linda Cook and husband, Jerry of Clover, SC; grandchildren, Jacob Marckini and wife, Darcy, Nathan Marckini and Ellie Cook; great-grandson, Cole Marckini; and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Philadelphia United Methodist Church of Fort Mill with Pastor Becky Shirley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will take place at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 17, 2020 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery in Columbia, SC.
